game: Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow

This is the first installment of Castlevania on the DS Lite. Basically, if you have played any of the GameBoy Advanced Castlevania games or Symphony of the Night, you will know how this game plays. The only difference is the addition of the touch screen, which was a disappointment. The game did not utilize the touch screen well at all only using it to solve some minor puzzles such as clearing ice blocks and using it to draw a symbol after you defeat the boss. I mean come on, they could have done so much more. There is not much more to say, pretty solid other than that. I would give it a 8.5/10 losing points because there is nothing really new to the game except the castle itself, and although the touch screen is new it was too big of a let down for it be impressive.
