movie: Oldboy
I have heard about this movie for quite sometime. A lot of people have been telling me that it was really good so I decided to give it a try. First of all this is a Korean movie, and as far as I know this is the only Korean movie I have seen...I also did not know that Koreans had the skill to make one of the most amazing movies I have ever seen.
This movie is incredible, just amazing, I cannot describe how badass it was. The story basically goes like this...there is this man Dae-su who one day is mysteriously abducted and put into a "prison". But it is no regular prison. The "prison" is a normal apartment room that is locked from the outside. He spends 15 years in this "prison" and one day is set free by the same person who abducted him. The movie becomes interesting once he is released because he wants to figure out who and why someone would do this to him.
This movie's ending is incredible and once you figure out why they did this to him it is just out of control. The main actor did an INCREDIBLE job in this movie. The directing was superb as well. There is once scene that is called "one vs many", it has to be one of the collest fighting scenes done in cinema.
Anyway, go check it out, immediately, you will not be disappointed, that is, if you have good taste in movies =)
