movie: brokeback mountain

Today I met up with my best friend, Corie, who I have been friends with since the 1st grade. I had not seen him in a while so we decided to go see a movie. His girlfriend want to see Brokeback mountain and I was like "I'm down" so that is what we saw.

I have to say, I was very impressed with the movie. It was VERY well done and probably one of the best movies I have seen in quite some time. The movie is about two men who meet during a summer job and eventually fall in love with each other. When the summer job ends and they go their own ways and eventually get married and have children. After some time apart they meet up again and have get togethers on Brokeback mountain (where they first meet doing their summer job) and of course they cannot see each other often and drama happens and etc etc.

The movie had very impressive cinematography and was well directed. The movie was also very powerful, in the sense that you can tell how much they loved each other, and you could feel the hurt of main characters throughout the movie. This is probably connected to the superb acting performances by...honestly, everyone in the movie.

This movie comes highly recommended.
